Science Flowchart
To keep up with the demands of the competitive workplace, the California State Standards have revised the Science Standards, now known as NGSS (Next Generation Science Standards) to reflect a higher level of learning, synthesizing, and skill base needed for our students to be successful in life after high school. To provide students with the most preparation, Norco High School now requires all students (even students on an IEP) to take three years of Science.
The following outlines the basic flowchart for students taking Science as it relates to their grades earned. Honors and AP courses are also available, but may not be shown. Talk to your counselor about options when signing up for classes.
