Our incredible parent volunteers help with working fundraisers, dispensing water at football games and parades, as well as sizing uniforms and chaperoning trips. Volunteers provide a critical component of our band's success.
Dear BDB Members
Here is what we need for volunteers to help students at events (parades, football, etc.) but NOT ride the bus(for less than 4 hours per week):

Fill out and return the following Volunteer Application:

Submit a copy of a current negative TB test within 60 days of the volunteer application submission.
3)Submit the application in person to the principal's secretary
or front desk so they can scan your ID at that time. Please do
send applications in to class with students.

**If you are planning to ride the bus/chaperone with us for more than 4 hours per week you will need to do a more thorough clearance procedure that involves live-scan finger printing with CNUSD. Below is the application for Live-Scan and instructions of what is involved:LiveScan Form.pdf
District Approved Volunteers (consistently more than 4 hours per week, field trip, or chaperone)
*This packet MUST be submitted for approval from the District Office.
Please collect the following for District office approval:
1. Current 2025-2026 Volunteer Application
2. Collect proof of negative TB, chest x-ray, or risk assessment results. TB certifications must
be dated within 60 days of the volunteer application date, and are valid for 4 years from date read.
Once an applicant is approved, TB verification does not need to be repeated annually if the
applicant continues service at the same site. The site is responsible for maintaining TB records.
3. Current 2025-2026 Livescan Form - Fingerprint background clearance from the DOJ and FBI
required
Secretary or designated office staff will:
1. Screen applicants through Megan’s Law website Megan's Law.
2. Email completed and signed volunteer packet to [email protected]*
