During the 2025-2026 school year I will be teaching the following courses:
AP Government & Politics - Google Code: g4pgde25
This class will go into detailed study of the United States Constitution and how it has helped shape our government. Students will learn how the three branches of government work together to establish, enforce, and interpret our public policy. My classroom is a safe zone for all students to learn and share their opinions. Partisan politics and political attacks are unwelcome and will not be tolerated.
Honors Economics - Google Code coming in January 2026
This class will cover the basic ideas of economics and how people and governments make choices between their wants and needs. We will be focusing on the macro side of economics and will discuss how supply and demand affects our markets and our personal lives. Students will gain an understanding of the economy and how public policy decisions affect inflation and prices.

AVID Seniors will be finalizing their university applications, applying for FAFSA and scholarships, and learning self management skills to help them be successful in university life. Our seniors will also be taking on leadership positions in the program to help plan events, trips, and fundraisers.
AVID 9 - Google Code: sgekw54q
AVID Freshmen will be getting an introduction to Focus Note Taking, Tutorology, Costa's Levels of Questioning, and researching careers they will be interested in studying while in college. Freshmen will take two local fieldtrips to universities so they can begin to understand how to choose a major of study and understand life on campus.
