Scholarships Exclusively for Norco High Students
The Counseling Department works to find qualifying scholarships offered to our Norco High School Seniors. Local scholarships available to all Norco High Seniors are updated annually by the Scholarships Coordinator. Seniors who are awarded scholarship awards are recognized at the Senior Awards Night held in May of each academic year.

Submit your Local Scholarships Application Packets to the College & Career Center room D22 in person.

Supplemental application and/or essay (Some scholarships require a supplemental application and/or essay. Please review the Local Scholarships Lists carefully so that you submit a completed packet.)


Step 1: Download and review the Lists. There are 3, the first two lists are due Feb. 14th unless noted otherwise, and the 3rd list has varying due dates. Review due dates carefully.

Step 2: Download and Complete the Local Scholarships Application
Download the Local Scholarships Application by clicking on the above link and save
it to your computer or to a cloud account before beginning to work on the application.

  • All fields that are in red are required and must have a value to submit the form.
  •  Make sure that you save your work! 

Visit the College & Career Center located in room D22 for help, and attend scholarship workshops during legacy period 3.

Step 4: Two Letters of Recommendation

In your application packet you will need to provide two letters of recommendation. You can ask a teacher, community member, or your employer. It should be someone who knows you well, with whom you have a good relationship. If you plan to ask your counselor for a letter of recommendation please download a Letter of Recommendation Request Form.

  • Allow your recommender 2-3 weeks to complete the letter of recommendation.
  • It may be a good idea to fill out the request form once and make photocopies to give to the other people you will be asking for a letter from.
  • Fill the form out COMPLETELY. Narratives always help, and be as detailed as possible.
  • If you are struggling for material, ask your parents for help, we love to brag about our children’s accomplishments.

Recommenders can provide you with a letter of recommendation directly.


Step 5: Unofficial Transcripts
Unofficial Transcript unless otherwise specified.

Unofficial Transcript: Go to your Q Student Connect and click on the student documents tab. Download and print a copy of your transcript.


Step 6: Fill out Cover Sheet Form & Scan QR Code in D22.
Be sure to check mark which scholarships you are applying for.

*IF YOU MISS THIS STEP YOUR APPLICATION IS NOT GUARANTEED TO BE SUBMITTED TO THE CORRECT COMMITTEES FOR REVIEW.


Step 7: Complete your Application Packet(s) and TURN IN to Career Center in room  D22!
Put your packet in order. Submit your cover sheet, then take the completed Local Scholarships Application Packet(s) to the College & Career Center BEFORE 4:00 pm on Friday, February 14, 2025. NO LATE APPLICATION PACKETS WILL BE ACCEPTED.

Ensure you submit a completed and paper-clipped packet for EACH SCHOLARSHIP you are applying for. There will be a QR code in the College & Career Center you will need to scan & to fill out a form. This will be your cover sheet/receipt of completion. Do this when you drop off your completed scholarship packet (s).
