9-11 Pick Up Day

9-11th Grade Pick-Up Day

Updated 5/26/20

Dear NHS Families,

We sincerely apologize for the delay, but after spending a great of time working through the wrapping up of the school year, we have finally come to the final updates for our returning NHS students in grades 9-11.

We are excited to announce that the Yearbooks will be available for pick-up for grades 9-11 on Thursday, May 28th. Please bring your Student ID!

  • 9th Grade - 9-10am (Those who want to purchase can come at this time; First-come, first-serve)
  • 10th Grade - 10-11am
  • 11th Grade - 11am-12pm

Where to Drive:

Students and families must enter the student parking lot from Second Street (Map). Drive in a single-file line up to the back of the cafeteria. Then, turn right and await staff to direct cars into a specific pick-up lane.

  • What if I have two children in two different grades? Choose either time to come and both children may pick up their Yearbooks at the same time.
  • How do I know if I purchased a Yearbook? We emailed everyone who purchased one. If you still need help, email or message us on social media.
  • Can I purchase a Yearbook if I didn't pre-purchase one? We are not sure quite yet. We will be selling the remaining 100+ books to the Seniors the day before. Whatever is left will be available for sale. First come, first serve. $95 cash only in exact change and in an unsealed envelope with the student's name and ID number written on it. We realize there is no certainty that we will have anything on hand for you this day, but showing up is your best likelihood of trying to purchase one if you did not already.
  • What if I cannot make this date? We do not have a make-up date and strongly encourage you to find a way for your student to come at this day. If you have someone else picking up your yearbook, you must write a note with the person's name on it, as well as your full name, ID number, your grade level, and your signature.
  • Can I have someone come for me if I cannot make it? Yes. Email with who is coming on your behalf and please have the student's name and ID number ready.
  • Can 12th graders come on this day if they miss the 5/27 Senior Pick-Up Day? Unfortunately, no. This date is reserved exclusively for the underclassmen. Seniors must contact to arrange a personal appointment.

We are extremly sorry to say that we are not able to host a pick-up time for students to retrieve personal items from their regular or PE lockers. Items may be picked up when we return in the fall. If you have something valuable or important that you need to pick up, please email your Assistant Princpal:

Our hearts break for our students as they finished out their remaining months off-campus and without a proper end of the year, but sincerely hope we've made things a little easier through regular ongoing communication for the last two months of the school year. If, for any reason, you need help, support, or have a question, please do not hesitate reaching out to us by replying to this email or messaging us through social media.
