Athletic Packets:

Are you playing one of the following sports:

  • Cross Country
  • Football
  • Comp. Cheer
  • Boys' Volleyball
  • Girls' Volleyball
  • Boys' Water Polo
  • Girls' Water Polo

If so, you need to complete the athletic packet process, so you can join your team for conditioning later this month.

There are two steps to complete your packet:

  1. Complete the online packet, using this link: https://permission.click/lGA7b/us/nEwZ
  2. Email your emergency card and physical form to nhsathletics@cnusd.k12.ca.us

We will issue a yellow receipt and give it your coach AFTER those two steps are completed.

You will be turned away from conditioning if the coach doesn't have a yellow receipt for you.

Physicals

All athletes must be examined and cleared by a physician. You may find a physician on your own or contact one of the clinics listed below. We also have physicals done, once a year, on campus. Please check the Athletic Physicals section under the General Information tab for more information.

Norco High School Community,

As you may already be aware, all athletics and co-curricular activities are on hold until we are given permission from the Riverside County Health Director to resume these programs safely.  Corona-Norco Unified is ready and we will resume athletics and co-curricular activities soon after we are granted permission to do so.  A detailed three phase plan has been developed and approved by the Corona-Norco Unified Board of Education for the return to Athletics and co-curricular activities.

The CIF Southern section has issued the attached memo (2020-2021 Southern Section Sports Calendars - July 20, 2020.pdf) outlining the various Season of Sport for the 2020-2021 school year.  Please know that the Athletic Directors of the BIGVIII league are meeting this week to discuss next steps for each of our programs and we hope to have “new” league schedules and other information related to non-league schedules available in the coming days.

As we approach the start of the CIF Season of Sport calendars, student-athletes are encouraged to obtain their athletic physical in anticipation of resuming athletics. Athletic Clearances are now available online (see below for more information on the process).

The BIGVIII League is committed to providing Education Based Athletics to our student athletes and we understand the stress that families and our communities have experienced these past several months.  Please know that we are working together and we are ready to resume Athletics and co-curricular activities once given permission to do so. We will update our school communities as more information becomes available and thank you in advance for your patience and flexibility during this time.
