Graduation

Announced 5/15/20

Dear Norco High Senior Families,

We are thrilled to finally announce our graduation for the Class of 2020 - Tuesday, June 2nd (8am-2pm). Although it will not be a traditional ceremony, we are happy to have this celebratory time to honor our Seniors. This event will consist of a drive-thru format whereby one car per family will drive into the large parking lot and up to the front of the Norco High School Football Stadium. The graduate will step out of the vehicle, walk to the a point in front of the gates to be greeted by myself and other dignitaries, accept their diploma cover, take a picture, and hop back into their vehicle.

We will be sending more details out very soon.

Lights On for CO2020

senior showcase

Graduation is on the list of one's greatest achievements, and nothing should stop the celebration! The City of Norco is proud to announce that it will celebrate and congratulate Norco High's #Classof2020 graduates on Tuesday, June 2, via a Senior Showcase on the Sixth Street Gateway Sign! The display will begin at 7 p.m. and will spotlight every graduating senior and their achievements. The display will run for approximately 45 minutes and will continue to play on a loop after the initial rotation concludes.

Preliminary Details for Graduates: Seniors are invited to partake in the celebration from their vehicle by driving under the Gateway Sign from either direction at any time during the display.

Preliminary Details for Spectators: The display will be viewable from both sides of the Gateway Sign. For those who wish to view the display from their vehicle or from either side of the horse trail, please follow local traffic ordinances and Riverside County-issued face covering and social distancing requirements, and be mindful of parking at private businesses or in residential areas.

Please note, graduates from JFK Middle College High School will be showcased on a separate date. Look for the Save the Date coming soon!

Now more than ever, WE ARE NORCO! Mark your calendar and watch for additional details in the coming weeks! For more information, email info@ci.norco.ca.us.

A message to our Seniors from our Superintendent, Dr. Lin:

For our high school seniors, we see you, we feel for you, and we are with you to support you during this time.  Your achievements in our District will not be forgotten and have been impactful in leaving a legacy for the many students following in your footsteps. You are teaching us all how to cope in the face of great adversity with resilience, grace, and maturity. I am heavyhearted to share that due to the state’s closure, the Class of 2020’s traditional graduation ceremonies will not be held in June. However, the District will continue to work on alternative contingency plans regarding graduation to honor the class of 2020’s achievements as soon as we are able to.
