FAQ's:
Find much more on the CNUSD website.

  1. What if we move back to purple tier? We will no longer be permitted to re-open until the county metrics improve. Students will revert back to the Remote schedule (the schedule we have been using since school started this year).
  2. What if the student has a job that starts before school ends in the afternoon? Students should request a schedule change to their employer to ensure they do not miss their afternoon instruction.
What if a Virtual student is dual enrolled and must attend 1-2 classes in person and it conflicts with their Virtual schedule? Teachers will do the best they can with accommodating all scenarios. The top priority is that students physically attend their classes and then complete their virtual classes around that time.
  3. What if a student has 1-2 class periods and must wait on campus for any reason before, after, or between classes? We will have designated locations, such as the library, around campus where students can wait for their ride or wait for their next class to ensure we are meeting the guidelines of social distancing.
  4. Are ID's required this year? Yes. We will have the photographer on campus the first week of school so students who did not get their picture taken can do so prior to entering campus. This is especially important with everyone wearing masks.
  5. What happens if a student forgets their mask? One will be provided to him/her.
  6. What if a student refuses to wear a mask? They will not be allowed on campus to protect the safety of others.
  7. What is BOYD and do students have to participate? BYOD stands for "Bring Your Own Device." This means that students will bring a device with them when they physically come to school. Since school has been done online all semester long, it is important that they have access to their work and materials so teachers can support them when they return once a week to class.
