Senior Pick-Up Day

Wednesday, May 27, 2020
8:00am - 12:00pm

Map

We are so excited for your upcoming gradution and the ability to share these milestones with you and your family! The most anticipated time of the year is here and we can't wait to celebrate YOU and see YOU in your cap, gown, and tassel!

With that being said, we have put together a distribution plan for you to pick up your graduation gear. On Wednesday, May 27th from 8:00am to 12:00pm, we will set up the parking lots at Norco High School with contactless drive-thru service for all of you to receive your graduation cap and gown (even if you did not pre-order one). We ask that all graduates start by reporting to STATION 1, which is the Admin Parking Lot located outside of the Performing Arts Center. Then, you can proceed to the other stations where you will pick up or purchase a yearbook, pick up awards/medals/stoles/sashes/cords, pay for obligations/fines, and pick up any remaining items we are gathering from PE and ceramics lockers.

When you arrive, please adhere to the following guidelines:

  • Please come at your assigned time.
  • Remain in your vehicles at all times.
  • Drive slowly!
  • All persons in the car should be wearing a mask.
  • All students must have your Student ID card and be prepared to show it at each station.
  • If your family member will be coming in your place, make sure they have your physcial Student ID card as well as their government issued ID.
  • Follow the designated route on the map.
  • Any and all purchases must be made in cash, exact change, placed in an unsealed envelope with the student's name and ID number written on the front. Once the staff member counts it, it will be sealed.

Please arrive during your assigned window to avoid congestion at the stations:

  • Last Names A-B   8-9am
  • Last Names C-G   9-10am
  • Last Names H-N   10-11am
  • Last Names O-Z   11am-12pm

Stations: Map

  • STATION 1:  REQUIRED FOR ALL GRADUATES. Drive through the Admin Parking Lot to find out if you ordered your cap/gown/tassel, and to pick it up if you pre-ordered it. We will let you know here if you did not order it. Caps/gowns are rented on your behalf by NHS and must be returned June 4th when you come back to pick up diplomas. Pop your trunk so we can put your free Senior Yard Sign in your trunk. And, drop off official transcript requests (provide a stamped envelop with the address you want us to mail your official transcripts to when transcripts are ready, which is around mid-June).

  • STATION 2: GRAD GOWNS FOR THOSE WHO DID NOT PRE-ORDER. Drive through the Pick-Up/Drop-Off Lanes to get your cap/gown/tassel if you did not pre-order it with Balfour.

  • STATION 3: YEARBOOK. Drive to the garage roll-up doors on the back-side of the Performing Arts Center to see if you ordered a Yearbook and pick it up here if you pre-ordered it. (Go to Station 4 if you need to purchase.) If you have someone else picking up your yearbook, you must write a note with the person's name on it, as well as your full name, ID number, your grade level, and your signature.

  • STATION 4: YEARBOOK PURCHASE. Behind the cafeteria, Seniors will be able to purchase a Yearbook if you didn’t buy one yet. $95 cash/exact change only/unsealed envelope with student’s name and ID#.

  • STATION 5: HONOR/AWARD PICK-UP. Just behind the old Auto Shop class, purchase and pick-up your Honors Stole ($20 cash/exact change only/unsealed envelope with student’s name and ID#), Course Major Medal (no charge), Dare to Soar Cord (no charge), AVID Sash/Medallion (free), Link Crew Sash (free) here. An email will go out by Friday to those receiving a medal or cord.

  • STATION 6: OBLIGATIONS/FINES & TEXTBOOK DROP-OFF. Behind the Softball Field, we will have a print-out of anyone who owes obligations/fines. We will notify Seniors who have fines prior to this event. All fines must be paid in cash only. Failure to return books or pay obligation fines will result in not obtaining the diploma on June 4th. We will also collect textbooks or anything else you need to turn back into the school here.

  • STATION 7: Pick up items from lockers (student lockers, Ceramics locker, PE locker, or items you messaged Mr. Amabile about at aamabile@cnusd.k12.ca.us).

We will be sending out details about Graduation by the end of this week! If you have any questions, please feel free reply to this email.
