  • Use Google Classroom (reach out to Chirino or Cabrera for help)

  • Use Google Voice when calling home (reveals a different number on the parent's caller ID); Use to call parents/guardians. Do call students unless they have you on speaker with a parent/guardian in the room.

  • Creating an Account:
    • Establish Zoom meeting norms. Here are things to consider:
      • Mute when not speaking
      • How students can take turns speaking
      • Chat feature
      • Video on/off 
    • Do not share your Zoom meeting link on social media (it will avoid non-students from joining)
    • Keep student cameras off 
    • Students do not need accounts - just the meeting code/link
    • Turn off the ability to private chat
    • Keep "file sharing" turned off
    • Don't post photos of your zoom meeting with student faces and names on social media
    • Change settings so you have control:
      • Select "Settings"
      • Scroll down
      • Toggle off "File Transfer" (it's "on" by default)
      • Keep scrolling down
      • Under Screen Sharing, change to "Host Only" (it's on "All participants" by default)
