Winter Break To-Do

While you have some down time, we have provided some information for you to glance through as we prepare for the new semester. We hope you have a safe and happy holidays!



Final Grades
Viewable in Parent & Student Connect on Friday, Dec. 24th. Click here for more details about report card dates and instructions on where to find your final grades in Parent/Student Connect.




Office Hours
Closed until Monday, Jan. 10, 2022. To allow some down time for our staff, they will not be checking emails.  

  • Any situations that involve the threat to cause harm or suicide - please call 911 immediately!
  • All other emergencies, please message the social media accounts or email any administrator. They will check intermittently throughout the break.

Plan Classes for 2022-23 School Year
Starting in February, students will select their classes for the 2022-23 school year through their Student Connect account. They will also meet with their counselors briefly to discuss their selection and sign up for Summer School (if needed). Here are some links you might find helpful as you make your selection in February:




Seniors to complete the FAFSA
Approximately 70% of our students attend college right after high school. All Seniors are strongly encouraged to complete the FAFSA to ensure all doors are open for you when you graduate. 



Find a Job
If you need a Work Permit, first you must get a job and then call the District Office at 736-3241. Their offices may be closed on select days.



Senior Scholarships
If you want to earn some free money for college, now is the time to complete those applications!


Replenish School Supplies

  • Notebooks, Binders
  • Paper
  • Pen, Pencils, Colored Pencils
  • Tape, Glue

Plan for Life After Graduation
Not sure what you want to do when you graduate high school? Here are some great options:

  • CTE Pathways - earn a certificate while at NHS you can use in the work force
  • Norco College Apprenticeship Programs - work while earning your certificate (while getting school paid for)
  • Free College - attend Norco College with tuition and books completely paid for regardless of your plan
  • WUE - want to go to a university out of state? Check out these western USA universities who offer in-state tuition through this  exchange program.
  • Career Exploration
  • Did you know that 70% of our students attend college after graduation? The number one Community College is Norco College and the number one 4-year is Cal State Fullerton.



Open Enrollment
If you are on a transfer or thinking about transferring, the window is open through Jan. 15, 2022 - now done through Parent Connect! CNUSD Website...
