Brand New to NHS
Some helpful info for any students who are brand new to Norco High School!
- We wear BLUE on Fridays!
- ID's
- Must be worn at all times during the school day. If you forget, we will be glad to provide a replacement for a $10 fee.

- Follow us on social media! We post and respond to messages daily!
- Download our free school app. Search "NorcoHS" in your app store.
- Cougar Tracks Weekly Updates! We message all families and students on Friday with the upcoming week at-a-glance to help keep you informed of activities, due dates, and announcements.
- Join us at school events! Click on the "Athletics" tab above to find out which sport is playing, or click on our school calendar for upcoming performances and activities hosted by the arts department and clubs around campus. Or, just simply follow us on social media for announcements.
- Join a Club! We have Club Rush in August in the quad at lunch to showcase all of our clubs. You can also click here for a list of active clubs on campus.
- Join a Sport! Click on the "Athletics" tab at the top to find out info about your favorite sport, or stop by the Athletics Office.
- Lunch
- Norco High has only one lunch for all students (view bell schedules)
- No Off-Campus Lunch Passes will be issued the first week of school, so all upper-classmen must remain on campus. Listen to announcements for details. Find out how to get one by visiting the Policies & Procedures page.
- We do not accept food drop-off services. Read our policy by visiting the Meals page.

- Check out Books & Laptops
- Textbooks and novels can be checked out in the Textbook Office located immediately inside the B-building.
- Laptops can be checked out from the Library (entrance is immediately inside the D-building when entering from the quad).
- Lockers

- Where to find them in Q: Go to Student Profile and click on "Enrollment," then the "lock" icon to view the combo.
- School Hours
- Open at 7:45 am and close at 4:15 pm
- Drop Off/Pick Up
- Remember NOT to make U-turns in the street nor park in the horse trails. Our school SRO will be ticketing regularly throughout the year!

- Click the link above to find summer assignments for Honors & AP classes only.
- Students with IEPs or 504s
- If your child has an IEP (to receive Special Education Services), Case Carriers will be calling within the first week of school to introduce themselves and to answer any questions. Administrators will be contacting parents/guardians with students who have a 504-Plan to schedule their Annual Review, which is a required meeting within the first 30 days of school.
