FREE WIFI • BYOD

BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) is now available for staff, students, and visitors!

Recent software updates and responsible use policies co-developed by IT, Ed Services, and Human Resources will allow for students and staff to bring their own devices and connect to the District WiFi. All users are still subject to the Responsible Use Policies. (Staff Policy) (Student Policy)

After following the onboarding instructions on www.cnusd.k12.ca.us/byod you can connect to the Guest WiFi.

INSTRUCTIONS:

Students need to enroll in AirWatch / Workspace ONE / Intelligent Hub  AT HOME

Students with Windows 10 devices only can now do the download in school by using the Visitor Wi-Fi

  1. Connect to CNUSD-Visitor
  2. A page will open with a link that says "Click Here"
  3. Click on "Click Here"
  4. Click on "Open Microsoft Account"
  5. Type your School Email: Lunch#@students.cnusd.k12.ca.us -> Click Next -> Next
  6. Then your Lunch# and Password -> Click Next
  7. Accept -> Yes -> Got it
  8. Wait 5 minutes
  9. Connect to CNUSD-BYOD Wi-Fi
 
  1. Connect your device to a secure Wi-Fi
  2. Go to ms-device-enrollment:?mode=mdm
  3. Click on "Open Microsoft Account"
  4. Type your School Email: Lunch#@students.cnusd.k12.ca.us -> Click Next -> Next
  5. Then your Lunch# and Password -> Click Next
  6. Accept -> Yes -> Got it
  7. Wait 5 minutes
  8. At School, connect to CNUSD-BYOD Wi-Fi

  1. Connect to a HotSpot, or use the School Library Wi-Fi after school hours
  2. Go to getws1.com 
  3. Click on "Download Hub for MacOS"
  4. Click on the VMware Intelligent Hub.pkg
  5. Continue->  Continue -> Agree -> Install 
  6. Enter your device password to allow installation
  7. Install Software -> Close -> Keep

  9.  Type your school Email: Lunch#@students.cnusd.k12.ca.us -> Continue
  10. Then your Lunch# and Password -> Continue
  11. Accept -> Enable -> Install
  12. Enter Computer Username and Password
  13. Wait 5 minutes
  14. Connect to CNUSD-BYOD Wi-Fi
 
  1. Connect your device to a secure Wi-Fi
  2. Go to getws1.com 
  3. Click on "Download Hub for MacOS"
  4. Click on the VMware Intelligent Hub.pkg
  5. Continue->  Continue -> Agree -> Install 
  6. Enter your device password to allow installation
  7. Install Software -> Close -> Keep

  10. Then your Lunch# and Password -> Continue
  11. Accept -> Enable -> Install
  12. Enter Computer Username and Password
  13. Wait 5 minutes
  14. At School, connect to CNUSD-BYOD Wi-Fi

  7. Next -> Allow -> Install -> Done
  8. Connect to CNUSD-BYOD Wi-Fi

  4. Type your School Email: Lunch#@students.cnusd.k12.ca.us
  5. Then your Lunch# and Password
  6. Accept -> Redirect & Enable
  7. Next -> Allow -> Install -> Done
  8. Connect to CNUSD-BYOD Wi-Fi
