Commencez vos recherches sur l'article de la semaine.  Choisissez un article substantif et surlignez les mots difficiles, les noms propres, et les grandes idées. Bonne journée !

Really do the brainstorming this time for your writing about your upcoming weekend.  You need to think of at least six activities you might do on a weekend (whether or not you are actually going to do them).  Then you should plan which activity you would do at which time (vendredi soir, samedi matin, etc.).  You also need to look up the vocabulary you are going to need (nouns and verbs). Bonne journée !

In the writing section of your notebook, please write at least half a page about what you did over the weekend (or anything interesting you did this past week).  The goal is for you to be reflective about your experiences and to put those thoughts into long sentences and paragraphs. Happy Monday!

Lisez les pages 25 à 26 dans le texte "De la Gaule au Moyen Age."  Surlignez les noms propres, les mots apparantés, et les mots difficiles.  Écrivez les définitions dans les marges. Read pages 25-26 in the text "De la Gaule au Moyen Age."  Highlight/underline the pronoun nouns, the cognates, and the difficult words.  Write the definitions in the margins. Bon week-end !

Do the third column of the vocabulary practice page.  You should study this carefully, both the English and the French (especially the French spelling) because there will be a quiz on Monday! Brainstorm what you want to write in your paragraph about your weekend and what you plan to do.  You need to come to class with notes that show your ideas and any vocabulary words that you needed to look up.  We will do the actual writing of the paragraph in class. Bon week-end !

In the writing section of your notebook, spend 20 minutes writing a scene involving a hair salon or barbershop.  This could be a realistic but fictional scene, a fantasy, a murder mystery, or anything that you like.  Your scene should have a beginning, middle, and an end. Have a great weekend!

Vous avez le poème à mémoriser pour demain.  Pratiquez avec la fiche .mp3 sur l'autre site web. Finissez les huit phrases avec "qui" sur la feuille que je vous ai donnée. Finissez l'article et vos résumés là-dessus.  Faites des notes sur l'article lui-même aussi. You have the poem to memorize for tomorrow.  Practice with the .mp3 file on the other website. Finish the eight sentences using "qui" on the page that I gave you. Finish your write-ups of the article.  Annotate the article itself as well. Bonne journée !

Do the second column of the vocabulary practice page (of verbs).  You're testing yourself to see how well you know them all. Do the last few exercises (25 and 26) and anything else you missed in the Leçon C workbook pages. Bonne journée !

Tonight I would like to remind you to spend some time reading a book or magazine of your choice, something that you enjoy.  You should spend at least an hour a day reading something that is well-written and long-form (so, not just on your phone). Happy Thursday!

Practiquez le poème, qui est prévu pour vendredi.  Il faut le mémoriser. Écrivez vos résumés sur les articles. Révisez le vocabulaire de la liste "AP Summer Vocab."  Il y aura une interrogation vendredi ! Bonne journée !
