Lisez l'article "Les marchés du Sénégal" dans la chemise verte.  Surlignez les mots apparentés (en jaune), les noms propres (en vert), et les mots difficiles (en rose).  Cherchez les mots difficiles dans le dictionnaire et écrivez les définitions dans les marges. Read the article "Les marchés du Sénégal" in the green folder.  Highlight (or underline) the cognates (in yellow), the proper nouns (in green), and the difficult words (in pink).  Look up the difficult words in the dictionary and write the definitions in the margins. Bon week-end !

Finish the -er verb workbook pages.  That means, finish exercise 10.9 and do 10.10.  Don't forget to read the directions! I will be collecting this whole packet, so please catch up on or fix any of the parts you may have skipped (or done badly). Bon week-end !

Spend at least fifteen minutes finishing a paragraph that begins, "This morning I couldn't find..." Try to be original, creative, and interesting (but school appropriate, of course).  It can be fiction or non-fiction, realistic or not. Write this in the writing section of your notebook, and don't forget to write the date! Have a great weekend!

Go to the YouTube channel Comme Une Française and watch the video entitled "Mastering the Basics: French Greetings and How to Practice French."  It's about 12:30 minutes long.  I will ask you questions about it tomorrow to see if you really watched! Bonne journée !

Lisez l'article "Un dimanche en France" dans la chemise verte.  Surlignez les mots que vous ne connaissez pas.  Surlignez aussi les mots apparentés (dans une autre couleur). Relisez l'article de Français Authentique au sujet de la famille.  Demain on verra la vidéo, et je veux que vous compreniez bien le texte. Read the article "Un dimanche en France" in the green folder.  Highlight the words that you don't know.  Also, highlight the cognates (in another color). Reread the article from Français Authentique about the family.  Tomorrow we will watch the video, and I want you to understand the text well. Bonne journée !

Sur les pages 7 à 9 dans la chemise verte (la grammaire), faites les exercises 1, 2, et 3. Finish your index cards with the verb aimer and the sentence order in French (for compound verbs and non-compound verbs). On pages 7 to 9 in the green folder (grammar), do exercises 1, 2, and 3. Bonne journée !

Do the homophone worksheet (full page) and then glue it into the grammar section of your notebook.  Be sure to write the date on it!  That is how I will be able to give you full credit in the notebook, by the dates (if they are legible and highlighted). Happy Wednesday!

In the writing section of your notebook, write at least half a page about what you think you want to be when you grow up.  How has this changed since you were little? Have a nice Thursday.

Write at least half a page about your weekend in the writing section of your notebook (the fourth section).  Use sensory details to describe whatever you did, no matter how boring it might have been.  There is always something you can say about it.  Tell us why you did whatever it was or how you felt about it.  Stretch your writing muscles!  Don't forget to write the date at the top of the entry. Have a good rest of your day!
