While in PE at Norco students will:
-Wear cleared shirts, shorts and shoes to class every day.
-Be on time, ready to participate, follow instructions, and participate to the best of their ability.
-Learn the muscles associated with weight room activity and development.
-Learn to develop an exercise program that fits student needs.
-Learn how to calculate target heart rate.
-Learn the importance of pre- and post fitness care.
-Identify which fitness components relate to specific activities:
Cardiovascular endurance, muscular strength, muscular endurance, flexibility, and body
composition.
-Analyze the purpose of safety rules and the inherited danger of not following them.
-Demonstrate and explain the skills required in the activity they are participating in.
-Respect peers, teachers, support staff, equipment, and facilities.
