CNUSD Connection Letter 10/8/21

CNUSD transitioned into the one-to-one digital learning environment, like most school districts, in the late spring of 2020.  While the pandemic conditions required our teachers and students to teach and learn in the virtual environment, our educators have progressed in the daily use of these digital tools to enhance our students’ daily learning experiences. Today, all CNUSD students have access to our Learning Management Systems via district provided Chromebooks. Please see information below which addresses many recent frequently asked questions regarding our 1:1 Device Program:

  • Families are encouraged to check out a District Chromebook due to its ease of connectivity to district networks while at school--students using CNUSD provided Chromebooks are less likely to experience disruptions in their connections to both network and digital learning platforms (i.e. Google Classroom, Canvas, etc.)
  • Families needing a device should first contact their school site for assistance with obtaining a District Provided Chromebook.
  • Please review these tips on caring for your device: https://bit.ly/3AjmX6w

  • Conduct basic Chromebook troubleshooting prior to contacting the CNUSD IT Department.
  • Lost or damaged Chromebooks should be immediately reported to the school site for a replacement, like textbooks, lost or damaged Chromebooks will result in a fine. To learn more about our Chromebook Fines, please click here.
