PE
Here at Norco High School our goal in PE is to be active every day. We strive for students to learn new and interesting ways to be healthy for life.
While in PE at Norco students will:
Wear properly cleared shirt, shorts and shoes to class every day.
Be on time, ready to participate, follow instructions and participate to the best of their ability.
Learn the muscles associated with weight room activity and development.
Learn the skills to develop an exercise program that fits their needs.
Learn how to calculate their target heart rate.
Learn the importance of pre- and post fitness care.
Be able to identify which or how many components of fitness relate to specific activities: Cardiovascular endurance, muscular strength, muscular endurance, flexibility, and body composition.
Analyze the purpose of safety rules and the inherited danger of not following them.
Be able to demonstrate and explain the processes of performing skills in which they are participating in.
Respect their peers, teachers and support staff as well as the equipment and facilities in which they perform in.

Important Announcements: At Norco we have loaner PE shirts and shorts if students need them for a day. If there is an issue that is preventing the student from dressing out they need to contact me before class so that a solution can be found. All students must be dressed out every day, no exceptions.
