For assignments, sign up for our Google Classroom page and Remind (check your school e-mail for the codes).  If you have any trouble signing up or accessing either program, or if there are glitches accessing individual assignments, please contact me by e-mail.  I will also post vocabulary lists for you to practice with on Quizlet.

We will be using Edgenuity for our core curriculum, but I will be supplementing it with a variety of other materials, websites, and projects to give you multiple ways of learning and practicing the language.

  We will also have daily class meetings live via Zoom (during your scheduled period between 1:00–3:00 p.m.) that will be a very important time for instruction, questions, interaction with your peers, and practice of your speaking and listening.  Please be on time and prepared.  Check your school e-mail for the link code.

 Learning to speak French well involves some personal commitment and more time than just two or three years in high school.  Fortunately there are a huge number of resources online available to you, many of which you may already know (TV5Monde, RFI.fr, Français Authentique, etc.).  The point is, I hope you will make the effort to become life-long learners and continue to read, watch, listen to, and study French far beyond any classroom opportunities you may have now or in the future.  I hope this skill will enrich your lives and experiences far down the road.
